Simulation of duty ratio fuzzy control of fan coil units

Analyses the dynamic heat transfer characteristics of fan coil units in the water cut-off state. Establishes a system simulator to study the duty ratio fuzzy control of fan coils, and studies the influences of quantizing factors Ke, Kec and control cycle τCYC on the control effect. The results show that on the assumption of ensuring the control effect of room temperature, 18% of comprehensive energy consumption of a fan coil unit can be decreased by optimizing τCYC, which has the greatest impact on the control effect; Ke followed, 16% decreased; Kec, 8% decreased. For the office buildings studied, τCYC should be 1.2 times of the air temperature rising time of the fan coil unit in the water cut-off state in low speed operation.
